Learn about the energetic effects of different foods, the role of taste in Ayurveda, their effects on the doshas, and their actions on the body and mind. Enjoy a combination of lecture and practical “hands on” cooking as Usha Lad brings her decades of Ayurvedic cooking experience to the classroom. Healing Emotional Trauma

Journey through the Chakras

Every chakra is a reservoir of consciousness. There is an increased concentration of neuropeptides at the different levels of the chakras. There are chakras in the physical, mental and astral bodies. As long as the chakra is open, the person experiences health in the organ related to that chakra. When a chakra is blocked, the person has repeated pain in the associated organ. We learn during this seminar how to unblock the chakras and make the energy move smoothly so they can unfold inner bliss. Vasant Lad will also share different chakra meditations.
