Every individual is a living book whose story can be read and understood when the ashtavidha pariksha, or eight methods of clinical examinations in Ayurveda, are employed with a mind that is both skillful and meditative.
In this first of two live, online webinars, Vasant Lad BAM&S, MASc, will open new avenues of inquiry, investigation and exploration into the cause of imbalance by introducing you to the first four of the eight ashtavidha pariksha: nadi (pulse diagnosis), mutra (urine examination), mula (questioning a client about elimination) and jihva (examination of the tongue).
“Clinical study is meditation. But first we must learn technique.”
~ Vasant Lad, 2016
Did you know that the tongue can reveal information about the state of a person’s internal organs? That there are seven levels of the pulse? Or that urine can be used as an indicator of prognosis?
