CONTINUING EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
We are delighted to offer a number of educational choices for introductions to Ayurveda as well as continuing education and professional development opportunities for people looking to enhance their existing scope of practice. We offer options both in Albuquerque and from a distance.
Vasant Lad, BAM&S, MASc, presents Ayurvedic topics of interest over a weekend or over a week. Topics include a mixture of popular interest and advanced Ayurvedic concepts. He generally offers four weekend seminars between January and May each year with a wide range of topics.
All courses are NAMA CEU approved. We offer live streaming videos at no charge as well as recordings and in-person attendance of Vasant Lad’s free Friday evening lectures, which are an introduction to each seminar and intensive.
Our Distance Learning courses are an exciting option for anyone to begin their Ayurvedic journey or to learn more about a particular subject, wherever they may be. If your goals include learning more about yourself and your health, or expanding your current professional scope of practice, consider studying the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with us. These courses can be tailored to many different schedules and time zones.
The Ayurvedic Institute has been teaching Ayuryoga for more than 20 years! It is an integral part of our Ayurvedic Studies Program. For full-time students of ASP1 and ASP2 who plan to use Ayuryoga with clients, we offer Ayuryoga Teacher Training as an elective.
In addition to Ayuryoga Teacher Training, we offer related online courses in Ayuryoga, Sanskrit, anatomy and physiology, Ayurvedic lifestyle practices and nutrition, plus seminars and intensives covering marma, yoga, and other sister sciences.
Graduates of our Ayurvedic Studies Program also have the opportunity to apply for our Graduate Clinical Internship as well as auditing a number of our ASP courses. Whether it is a new course or one where you want to refresh or deepen your knowledge, alumni now have the option to enroll and fully participate in individual courses.
