Yatra naryastu pujyante ramante tatra Devata “Divinity blossoms where women are honored.” – Manusmriti Women are the embodiment of the creative power of Shakti and manifest that creativity in the realms of family, society and the world. However, in order to best channel their intrinsic creativity, women need balanced health of body, mind, and spirit. For thousands of years Ayurveda has provided women and their families with a comprehensive, holistic approach to maintaining and restoring an optimal state of health. From supporting life-long harmonious cyclical changes and balanced hormones to preparing for pregnancy and postpartum to newborn and child care and advice for mindful parenting, Vasant Lad, BAM&S, MASc, brings more than 40 years of clinical experience to this week-long summer Intensive. Join us and gain a practical Ayurvedic understanding of how we can effectively address the health of women and children from a physical, emotional, spiritual, and clinical perspective.
